A year ago I had an idea…

What if readers could actually help shape the story?

For me, that was a little terrifying. I’m a discovery writer, which means when I sit down to write, I don’t know what happens next either. That’s part of what makes writing so exciting for me—I’m discovering the story right alongside my characters.

Of course, it also means my first draft looks a lot like a very long outline… several hundred pages long. 😅

So creating an interactive story felt like a big risk.
Could I build a plot without knowing the ending?

I spent a year figuring it out, and in January I finally posted the first chapter.

And honestly?

I love it.

Seeing readers share ideas, theories, and suggestions for what should happen next has been even more fun than I imagined.

Now I just need more people to join the adventure.
