Creating Descriptions for Characters in Writing: My Experience with AI

I appreciate how AI allows me to describe my characters and create an image close to what I imagined. Although the characters aren’t exactly how I pictured them, they are close. I have learned a few things that AI struggles with. It does not get scars right. I tried to describe Marko, Ante, and Devin’s scars on their faces, and no matter how I worded the description, the AI could not get it right. I usually ended up with a version of my character that looked more like Frankenstein. Also, if the AI didn’t get my description close the first time, I usually found it easier to start from scratch rather than continue to correct the AI. The character creation got further from my original description the more times I added feedback. If this is not how you pictured them, don’t worry. Your version of the character is correct for you. I do not give a lot of detail in my writing, mainly because I don’t like reading a lot of detail in other books. So, if you came up with a different vision of what my characters looked like, I would love to see you create your own AI version and share it with me.

I have not included several characters for different reasons. Either I haven’t yet asked AI to create one, or I have, and I am not yet satisfied with the results and plan to try again another time.
